Thom started with The Smith Group in January of 2011 after receiving his Bachelor’s in Business from USC-Aiken in December of 2010.  In addition to being a native of Aiken, he previously owned and operated his own business for over two decades.  Many of his former clients have followed him to his new career at The Smith Group.  His areas of concentration are: Senior Products such as Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance and Life Insurance. 

Thom and his wife Chris have four children.  Daughter Jourdan, a junior at Virginia Tech, attends on an Army ROTC scholarship and their eldest son Mason, just completed Basic Training and AIT at Ft. Benning.  The younger boys, Thomas and Spencer, round out their crew and along with their parents enjoy baseball and other outdoor activities.
